F.G Grigg was an amateur goalkeeper who played for the Grecians in the Western and Southern Leagues in 1931/32.
In his first game against Torquay reserves in the Western League on the 17/19/1931, City lost 5-0, a week later against Bristol Rovers in the Southern League, City lost 4-1, on the 31/10/1931, against Torquay in the Southern League, City lost 4-2, this was topped a week later when Bristol Rovers beat City by 6-2 in the Western League, meaning 19 goals were scored in his first four games, he did continue to play throughout the season.
