George Letheren was an amateur from Topsham St Margarets, who played in goal in a practice game on the 20/8/1924.

He also played for Exeter City reserves in the Southern League against Aberaman on the 1/11/1924, keeping a clean sheet. City won 2-0.

George continued to play from time to time for City, in the Western and Southern Leagues, in 1925/26 and 1926/27.
