Biographical Text
George Selley scored half-a-dozen goals for Exeter City’s reserves in the 1927/28 season without making the first team.
Reported to be from Exeter, but with some experience with Alfreton Town and Stoke City, he made his reserve team debut in August 1927 and, after scoring a number of goals at the start of the season, finished the Southern League campaign with a hat-trick against Ebbw Vale in April 1928.
He is later understood to have played for the successful Friernhay team of the late 1920s and early 1930s.
