Russell Perrett

Russell was a former Portsmouth Apprentice, who joined Exeter in October 1991.

A forward he made his debut against Torquay in the South West Counties Reserve league in October.

He started at Lymington, making his debut as a 14 year old in 1987. He was there until 1995, when he rejoined Portsmouth. He played over 70 times for Pompey before joining Cardiff City in 1999, where he played a further 29 games before joining Luton Town in 2001 on a free transfer.

He played nearly 100 games for the Hatters, scoring 9 after six years at the club, where he won one league title and helped Luton to two promotions. He subsequently signed for AFC Bournemouth on a one year contract. (https://www.hattersheritage.co.uk/)

Russell retired in May 2008, after a bout of pleurisy, which had meant he could not play for a large part of the season.
