Born Barnstaple 1987.

Aaron was in the Exeter City under-16 development squad in 2002/03.

He made his debut for Barnstaple Town soon afterwards at the age of 16 going on to make 336 appearances during two spells at the club. 

The highlight of Aaron's Barnstaple career was captaining successive promotion-winning teams in 2015 and 2016. Later, with the club now in the Southern League, Aaron had a spell as manager between December 2018 and September 2019.

Aaron also played for Bideford and Appledore and, after his stint as Barum's manager, Ilfracombe Town. 

Aaron’s brother Jed played first-team football for Plymouth Argyle before moving on to Frome Town, Bideford, Truro City, Barnstaple Town and Ilfracombe Town.
