Phil Daley played in a pre-season friendly at Taunton in the summer of 1996.
A striker, he had been released by Lincoln at the end of the 1995/96 season, he was signed by Wigan from Newtown in 1989, going on to play 161 games for them and scoring 39 times in his five seasons there.
He signed for Lincoln City in 1994, for a £40000 fee, making 32 apperances and scoring 5 goals for the Imps.
After, his trial at Exeter he joined Bangor City.
