25th April 1964, I remember the Saturday afternoon exactly 60 years ago today when Exeter were the visitors to my home town, Workington needing one point for promotion to (the old) division 3, Workington, aka "the Reds" were already promoted and needed 2 points, ie a win, for the championship. It was the last game of the season and over 8000 saw the game end in a goalless draw, both sides being promoted
