Born 18 September 1992 Exeter.

Ethan played for the youth and reserve teams as part of the club's centre of excellence. He was with the under-15s in 2007/08 and the under-16s in 2008/09.

Soon afterwards Ethan was playing adult football for the reserves at Tiverton and, after a sole first-team game in 2011/12, moved to Bideford. Over the next few seasons he played for Buckland Athletic, Tiverton (for a second and then a third time), Barnstaple Town and Plymouth Parkway (where he helped the club win promotion). Along the way Ethan also appeared for Cullompton Rangers and, at the time of COVD-19, Bovey Tracey and Topsham Town. In his three spells at Tiverton Ethan had played nearly a hundred games in total.

Ethan signed for Bideford once again at the start of 2022/23 but soon left to play for Axminster in the SW Peninsula League.
