Brian, a striker, from Torpoint, was on trial at Exeter in 1996/97.

He played 8 games and scored 4 goals in the South West Counties League in 1996/97.

Brian played against Torquay in the FAYC on the 3/10/96.

Brian returned to play in Cornwall and was playing for Torpoint in 2004 to 2009, the following was a comment made on the Cornish soccer forum:-

" Torpoint have got Brian Stacey so they will definately get in the final. Then in the final Brian Stacey will score loads of goals and get man of the match, and in the changing rooms after Brian Stacey will sing all the best songs, then into the bar and Brian Stacey will drink the most beer and on the night out Brian Stacey will have the best clothes on.
