Bill Bex was a centre-forward from Northamptonshire who played for Exeter City in a friendly against the City Services League on 7 November 1945. 

A former amateur with Northampton Town, he played for the newly-formed Bedford Town in the Southern League between 1945 to 1948 scoring 14 times from 68 appearances. He later joined Wellingborough.
