D. Weeks, from Torrington, was an outside left who was on trial at Exeter in 1947. He was recommended to the City by Charlie Miller, who was the club's chief scout.
He played against Barry Town in a Southern League Cup match on 12/2/1947, and later against Hereford in a Southern League fixture on the 19/4/1947.
