Biographical Text
Jim Cumming joined the club from Hamilton Academical in 1948 but never made a first-team appearance. He joined the club around the same time as Frank O'Hagan, another signing from Scotland who did not make the first-team.
Having played three times for Hamilton in the Scottish League early in 1948/49, he moved south to Exeter City and made his debut for the reserves in the Southern League against Tonbridge on 13 November 1948 before netting his first goals for the club in the match against Hastings a fortnight later.
Netting eight times for the reserves, he left City in 1949 and signed for Bedford Town.
