Biographical Text

An amateur with Exeter City in 1950, Geoff Peach later made a Football League appearance for Plymouth Argyle.

Signed by Exeter City on amateur forms in February 1950 from Torpoint Athletic, he soon sustained a serious injury playing for the reserves and did not play again until the 1950/51 season.

After playing as an amateur for Millwall when on National Service, he returned home to sign for Plymouth Argyle. Scoring on a regular basis for the reserves, he made a solitary Football League for the first-team against Shrewsbury in February 1957.

Geoff subsequently turned out for Truro City and Falmouth Town and became one of the leading lights of the Cornish game.
