Harold Rickard, a St Luke's College and Cornwall county player, appeared for Exeter City's reserves in 1949/50 along with college team mate J Crouch who had also represented Cornwall.
During the same season he also played in a representative game at St James' Park for the Football Association against the Universitities' Athletic Union.
