Wayne Vaughan, from Tottenham Hotspur, was a England Schools international on trial at Exeter City in March and April 2000.

Just about to leave White Hart Lane, he played and scored for Exeter City Reserves in the Football Combination cup against Plymouth Argyle on 28 March 2000 and netted twice in the reserves' league game against Swansea City a fortnight later.

He signed for Canvey Island in August 2000 and Grays Athletic in January 2003 before making appearances through to 2008/09 for Purfleet, Grays again, Barking and Romford.
