Chris, was on trial from Bolton Wanderers when he played in the Football league Youth alliance for Exeter City Reserves against Brentford in April 2000.

A midfielder, Chris signed a pro-contract at Bolton in 1998, having been a youth player there since 1996.
After his trial at Exeter he left the UK for Malaysia where he played for Kuala Lumpur.

Although Chris was born in Coventry and capped by Scotland at Youth level, was eligible to play for the Seychelles.
He played four international matches for the Seychelles, making his debut in a 1-0 defeat against Mauritius in October 2002. 

He returned to the UK to play for Leigh RMI in 2002/2003, signing for Bromsgrove Rovers in 2003.
Chris was on trial at Worcester City in July 2004
