2000 Betteridge, Tom
Tom Betteridge was a former Derby County trainee who had a trial for Exeter City in 2000. He later played in Finland and in English non-league football mainly in the East Midlands.
Born in Derby, Tom was nineteen when he he appeared as a trialist for Exeter City Reserves against Swansea on 12 April 2000.
Formerly a trainee at Derby County, he signed for GBK in Finland after failing to win a contract at St James' Park. He then returned home to play for Stamford followed by spells at Newport (Isle of Wight), Belper Town, Eastwood Town and Mickleover Sports before joining Gresley Rovers in August 2009. Making over a hundred appearances in three seasons for his new club, he subsequently turned out for Borrowash Victoria and South Normanton Athletic.
