Blake Patterden, from Queensland, Australia was on trial at Exeter City in early 2001. He had played for the Sunshine Coast team.

In 2009 he was a radio presenter with Hot91 radio in Australia and also a qualified physical education and science teacher and was playing for Buderim Wanderers Football Club. He was still playing for them in 2017.
