Alex Burke

Alex played on trial in midfield for Exeter City in a pre-season friendly against Birmingham City on the 17th of August 2002.
He was on trial from Clydebank. 

Alexander was born in Glasgow on the 11th of  November 1977.

He signed for Kilmarnock in 1995 and made 51 apperances scoring 5 goals before moving to Falkirk in 2000, where he played 11 games in the one season he was there.

He joined Clydebank in 2001, where he had scored 3 goals in 5 games when on loan in 2000 from Kilmarnock. He was a consistent scorer in his 2nd spell, hitting the net 14 times in his 37 apperances.

After his trial at Exeter he signed for Berwick Rangers in 2002, playing 36 games and scoring 11 goals. The following season he moved to Queen of the South, (33 games and 13 goals, and the season after he moved to Ross County where he played 61 matches and scored 19 goals before signing for St Mirren in 2006, two years later after 23 apperances he moved to Dunfermerline on loan, signing for manager Jim McIntyre a few games later, he played 80 games for the Pars, before joining Ayr United in 2011.
