Sebastian played on trial in a friendly for Exeter City against Swansea City in January 2003 at home.

He began his career in the youth ranks of Central Córdoba. He impressed while with Central Córdoba and was signed by Sevilla FC, playing with the club's reserve.

After leaving Exeter he went on to play for Virton in Belgium before returning to Central Córdoba the following season. He also played in Italy for Sestresse, and in the USA, where he played in Chicago. And a large number of other clubs in Argentina. 
He was still playing in Argentina in 2018.
