Ashley Sestanovich
Ashley Sestanovich, played 41 minutes for Exeter City in the pre-season friendly against Tiverton on the 20th of July 2005, before going with an injury.
He started as a youth player at Millwall in 1998, moving to Manchester City 1999, he then moved to Royal Antwerp however he failed to make a single appearance and was released after less than a year.
He went on trial at Metz, and then joined an Irish side, before returning to England.
In 2002 he signed for Hampton and Richmond, where he scored 4 goals in 16 games and was snapped up by Sheffield United in 2003, he was with the Blades for two seasons, where he played only 2 games. However he played 7 games on loan at Scarborough, scoring twice and Grimsby Town in 2004/05 where he made 22 apperances.
When Sheffield released him at the wnd of 2004/05 he was on trial at Gillingham an Exeter, but signed for Chester where he made 7 apperances before being released.
He then had a trial's at Dundee and Gravesend and Northfleet before joiining Grays in 2006.
In 2006, Ashley was arrested and charged with conspiracy to rob from a roofing firm in London in June 2005 that resulted in the murder of a man who was shot in the chest during the raid. He was in court in 2007, where he was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
