Adam Faux

Born Honiton 1982.

Adam, from Seaton in East Devon, played as a triallist in the 9-1 pre-season win at Millbrook in 2003. The following summer he was on trial at Bath City with Reiner Moor.

Adam played for Clevedon Town and Taunton Town before signing for Tiverton Town in 2007. At Ladysmead he went on to become club captain and play nearly 150 games in all competitions

Adam suffered a fractured skull in a violent assault in Exeter in May 2011. The following March he returned to football playing for Tivvy’s reserves against Elmore. Adam regained his place in the first-team and, all told, played another twenty games before retiring in 2013.

The Tivvy Archive describes Adam's return to playing as "a remarkable recovery that is both humbling and an inspiration to everybody that knows him."

Adam’s brother Alex also played for Tiverton as well as Bridgwater, Taunton and Willand.
