Jake was on trial at Exeter, from Team Bath, in September 2006.

Returning to Bath, he played 27 games for them in 2006/07, before moving to Chippenham for the start of the next season. 

Jake, brother of Reuben, started at Yeovil and after Chippenham played for a large number of clubs including, Yate Town, Weymouth, Bath City, Salisbury City, Newport County, Telford, Redditch, Welling, Hayes and Yeading, Bromley, Dover, Maidenhead, Chelmsford City, Metropolitian Police 

Jake retired from playing at the age of 32, in February 2018, whilst with his last club Weston Super Mare.
