Alex, made his debut for Exeter City in goal, in the South West Youth Alliance in September 2006.

In 2013 he was playing in goal for Newton Poppleford, moving to Sidmouth in 2015 and Honiton in 2018/19 and at the start of the 2019/20 season. He returned to play for Sidmouth in December 2019.
