Tam played a trial match for Exeter City in a reserve game against Bristol City away from home in October 2011.
The 30 year old striker had joined City on trial from Falkirk, for whom he made 16 appearances scoring 7 times.

He also played for Rochester Rhinos, Limerick, and Cairtcairn Juniors.
