Scott Rogers, the son of Peter and nephew of Martyn, was an associate schoolboy at Exeter City as an under-15 in 1993/94 and an under-16 in 1994/95. He then joined Tiverton Town, where Martyn Rogers was already manager, for whom he made over 400 appearances in two separate spells. He also played for Forest Green Rovers in the Conference and took on management/coaching roles at Willand, Tiverton and Weston-super-Mare. 

First appearing for Tiverton in 1997, he scored the club’s winner in the 1999 FA Vase win over Bedlington Terriers at Wembley having also played in the previous year’s success against Tow Law Town. Remaining at Ladysmith until 2003, he was twenty-four when he got a chance with Forest Green Rovers in the Conference. Spending three years in Gloucestershire, he thereafter appeared for Bath City, Newport County and Chippenham Town.

Subsequently having a two-year stint as player-manager of Willand Rovers between 2013 and 2015, he returned to Tiverton initially as player-coach and later joint-manager with his uncle Martyn before becoming assistant manager of Weston-super-Mare in 2023. With the departure of Scott Barlett in October 2025, Scott took over as first-team manager of the National League South club.
