Biographical Text
A "promising centre-forward" in his early 'twenties, then playing for South Molton, Bertie Larsen signed amateur forms for Exeter City in February 1930.
Growing up and living in South Molton, and working in the local council, he is first recorded as playing for Exeter City Reserves in the Southern League at Newport County on 29 March 1930.
Remaining at the club to play in a handful of other games, he is known to have appeared against various City sides for both South Molton and the Exeter and District League XI through until at least 1937.
Bertie died in North Devon in 1968.
