End of Season Awards 2003-04
Managers Player of the Year - Jo Goldsworthy When looking for someone for this award we both looked for commitment shown on and off the pitch. This included commitment to training/ matches, listening to and putting into practice coaching points, encouraging team spirit/ motivation, organising players/ kit etc and building relations within the club and community. Jo has worked hard throughout last season on the pitch and behind the scenes, again her work rate and commitment was outstanding.

"I never tend to say much as I don’t want people to think I’m boasting. I was a striker and then captain and striker for Exeter City Ladies for years and prior to that Elmore Ladies and a coach for City, Sport England and Devon Active Sports Partnership with clubs and in schools and colleges, absolutely adored it, very blessed by the opportunities I had and incredible people I worked alongside"
