Jo played for Exeter Rangers (aka Grecian Girls) from 1989 to 1995, playing over 80 games, she then moved to play for Elmore Eagles from 1995 to 2001 making a total of 63 appearances and scoring once. When Elmore became Exeter LFC in 2001 she stayed with Exeter and played 6 more times and was part of the team that reached the 4th round of the WFA Cup.
