Carla played for Exeter in 2009/10
2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13 and 2013 /14, having come through the Centre of Excellence, and was part of the team that rose through the football pyramid. 

She made her first team debut on the 6th September 2009 at home to Exmouth Town, in the Westward Development Devon Women's Premier League, scoring 4 times in. 9-0 win.

In the 2014/15, Carla played 24 games, and in 2015/16 played a further 12 games.

After leaving Exeter, Carla joined Buckland Thistle, in 2016/17, playing 17 games, and in the following season 2017/18 another 18 games, topping that in 2018/19 when she played 27 games in all competitions for Buckland.

Buckland has a fine season in 2018/19  in the FAWNL Division One South West and also reaching the Devon County FA Final losing narrowly to higher division opposition.
