Molly was born and brought up in Portsmouth, playing football for Portsmouth from the age of 9.

Educated at Portsmouth University and Manchester Met, she was captain of Portsmouth Reserves in 2015/16, however Molly relocated to the Westcountry and signed for Exeter for the start of the 2016/17 season, making 19 apperances for City in the Women's National league Division 1
