Mundy, Kathryn

Kathryn was born and raised in Texas,

Kathryn was signed in January 2018, from the United States of America, she was a central midfielder whose career highlight was winning the Tapps 3A State Championship in High School and playing for the NCSAA Division One University side.

On signing Kat wrote, "Exeter seemed like a great fit for me to continue my career and to forward to the rest of the season with the girls.”

The manager, Abbie Britton said of the signing
"Since Kat has been training with us she’s added a tempo to the team, her positional awareness and her ability on the ball is different class. She never shies away from wanting the ball either and, as a coach, it’s a joy to find that in a player. Coming over from the States, she brings a wealth of experience from playing over there. It’s a hard place to play football. I am very excited to be working with her.”

She made her debut for the 1st team later that season and the following season, 2018/19she played 18 games scoring 8 times and in the curtailed 2019/20 season scored 3 goals in 8 games.

Kat returned to the USA.

UIW Women’s Soccer announced the following in May 2021
"Kat is a new addition in 2021!  Joining from Exeter CityWFC after growing up in Houston, Kat knows Texas. We look forward to her leadership."
