Zara, from Bideford Ladies joined the U-16 development squad at Exeter, in 2006, when the team was reformed.

Zara played in midfield and defence for Exeter in 2006/07 as a 16 year old. 

From North Devon she later played for Georgham and Croyde and in 2008/09 was playing for Barnstaple.

She was still playing for Exeter in 2010/11 and also played for Barnstaple after she left Exeter in 2011/12

In 2019/20 she was playing for Fremington and had also played for Ilfracombe.
