Everald played for Exeter in the Macbar Reserve League on the 25th of September 1985, against Torquay at Plainmoor in defence.

Born in East Ham in 1963, Everton started his career at West Ham, where he captained the team which won the 1981 Youth Cup Final. He played only 7 games for West Ham before signing for Bournemouth in September 1983. He played 24 games for Bournemouth, and also played 8 games on loan at Peterborough. 

He retired from playing after a few games with Wealdstone, because of injury.

He later coached in Saudi Arabia.
