John Gillard
John played for Exeter "A" in the Devon and Exeter League in 1960/61.
John played as a team "right winger" for most of his career but finished as a right back.He was always a keen supporter of Crediton United and played for the Club for 25 years apart for the one season as an amateur at Exeter City.
He was also a keen member of the Crediton Club's Committee and was Chairman for the Club when it moved to Lords Meadow in 1975. He stayed with the Club until the 1990's when golf clubs were looking for people and he joined the Club at Okehampton.
John died on the 13th January 2023.
