Charles Squires played twice for Exeter City in the early 1920s. He joined the club from Maerdy and later played for Torquay United.
Signed from his home town club of Maerdy in South Wales, Charles made his debut for Exeter City in a 2-0 home win over Norwich City in March 1922. He played in the next match against Reading before leaving St James' Park at the end of the season to join Torquay United for the 1922-23 season.
