Emily played five games for the development squad in the Devon Womens Football League Division 1 in the curtailed 2019/20 season.

She played in the opening three games at the start of the 2020/21 season for Exeter City 2nd's in the Devon Women's Football League Division 1. 

In September 2021 the following was posted on Twitter by ECWFC 

"Despite only knowing Emily for a short period of time, her commitment, drive and positive energy make her an ideal candidate. After holding the vice-captain role last season, this is a natural progression in her development as a footballer and leader"

"Good Luck to our Development Team Captain, who begins life at the University of Gloucester this week. Emily has always shown great dedication to ECWFC and commitment to improving her game, we wish her well"
