Toby from Basingstoke was an Exeter City scholar/trainee between 2020 and 2022. He had been with Southampton whilst at school.
He scored scored one of the goals in the 3-2 FA Youth Cup win against Plymouth Argyle on 4 November 2020 and, during his second year with the club, went on work experience to Southern League Hartley Wintney in February 2022
After his release by City in 2022 he joined the North Hampshire club on a permanent basis for 2022/23 before embarking on a scholarship to study business management at Georgia Southern University in conjunction with playing for the Georgia Southern Eagles in university competitions.
