Peter, a right-back from Bristol was on trial and played against Newport in the Capital Finance and Leasing reserve league in January 1989.

Peter had been at Bristol City with Terry Cooper who was keen to sign him, however he was only able to play in midweek reserve games as he worked as a drayman in Bristol at weekends.
