Graham Underhil, who had played in the Football League with Bristol City, appeared for Exeter City’s reserves early in the 1987/88 season.

Arriving at Ashton Gate as a trainee in 1984, he made a single first-team league appearance for the club at Wolves in March 1986.  

Aged nineteen when associated with Exeter City, he was unable to secure a contract with the Grecians and was soon playing for Mangotsfield United.
