Apologies for the non-appearance of our usual mini pre-season match programme for last Tuesday's Panionios game, but as they say, "this was due to circumstances beyond our control" - honest! In fact you wouldn't believe how hard we tried to obtain information about the Greek team, making numerous telephone calls. We were not alone, for we also received a call from Barnet FC who were due to play Panionios after us - they too had drawn a blank!

Eventually it was discovered that Oxford United, this evening's visitors had gleaned some information via the internet, and they very kindly faxed this to us. Unfortunately, it was simply too late for the printing deadline and so the decision was made to issue a team sheet instead of the usual mini programme.
