I was a spectator at this game and had also attended the floodlit away match at Bideford, which is mentioned in the programme. It was 1969. I had injured myself in the trial matches at the Cat & Fiddle and so couldn't play for any of the teams that weekend. Luke's beat Bath Reserves 4-2 with Tony Wenden scoring 2, if my memory serves me right. It was one of the few matches won that season. Mal Criddle was the captain.
