I have this programme in my collection as it was the very first Football League match I ever went to ! We were on holiday in Southport and met up with relatives from the North-West, my mum's family were from Bury, so my dad took me to the game. Does anyone know the final score ? I can remember vividly being upset (I was 8 years old !!) that my dad insisted we left five minutes before the end to catch a bus back to the hotel and finding out in the newpaper next morning that we missed two vital goals !! I think Southport either won or lost 2-1 ...
