Jackie Kernick played for Exeter LFC against Barry LFC on the 8th March 1981. 
Jackie played for Exeter Ladies in 1980/81, the following is from a programme article in February 1981,

"Jackie Kernick joined Exeter ladies Fooball Club at the begining of this season, having been a regular member of Kingsteignton's South Western League side, where she was a consistently outstanding player. Jackie fitted into Exeter's team straight away, and is an impressive, skilful, conscientious player who has suprised opposition who do not know her footballing reputation. Leading our Individual Mitch Awards list, and pickea for Regional Trials, it is obvious that Jackie's decision to try out her playing skills in a more competitive league is paying off."

Jackie continued to play in 1981/82 when she scored 5 goals in 9 games. Her last game for Exeter was against Frome in the Western League on the 20th December 1981.
