SWINDON TOWN 2, EXETER CITY 1.

Swindon Town made two changes in their team, Marshall and Rushton taking the places of Walker and Hogan. Lockhead continued at left-half, where he was deputising for Chambers.


Although Copestake scored a goal by which Exeter led at half time, Swindon Town recovered, and got two goals in the second half to win the match by 2-1. Swindon's points were obtained by Tout and Jefferson.

Played at the County Ground, Swindon.

Attendance 3,000.
