Pedro Borges played as a trialist in the Devon Bowl game at Axminster in January 2022 and soon became a trainee/scholar before turning professional in 2023.
Pedro, whose father played professionally for Boavista in Portugal, had previously been part of the youth system at Yeovil Town. After his appearance at Axminster he played for the under-18s for the remainder of 2021/22 and was a member of the team which lost to Bideford on penalties in the Devon St Luke’s Bowl final in May 2022. Making rapid progress Pedro made his first team debut coming on as a 2nd half substitute against Newport County in the EFL Trophy on 30 August 2022. He subsequntly played against Southampton under-21 in the same competition before being loaned to Plymouth Parkway.

In February 2023 Pedro signed his first professional contract with the club. He then went on loan to Tiverton but was recalled after a month so he could make his league debut as a second-half substitute against Bolton Wanderers on Good Friday. He later made his first league start at Ipswich on 29 April 2023. Making five league and cup appearances at the start of 2023/24, Pedro subsequently spent time on loan with Dorchester Town from October 2023 and with Gosport Borough from February 2024. Returning to St James' Park, he made a late substitute appearance against Port Vale in April 2024.
Starting his second full season as a professional, Pedro featured in the opening day win against Rotherham United on 10 August 2024 and had appeared in another three matches prior to being loaned to Yeovil Town in November 2024.
