The first noteworthy moment of last Saturday's game against Mansfield was probably the most important of the game. Wayne Fairclough was brought down by City's Pat O'Toole on the right a side of the Exeter area, and sure enough referee David Frampton pointed to the spot. Up stepped the experienced Trevor Christie, but he blasted his penalty kick high into the Big Bank crowd.
