CLOSING IN ON PROMOTION
As the final months of the season approached, City continued to make the most of their dominance at St James Park as they closed in on promotion.
A poor away record led some to cast serious doubts on our ability to go the distance, but by the middle of April, everyone knew that City were in touching distance of the league title.
